For Strata Managers

At Private Certifiers Australia we understand that old buildings cannot comply with today’s Building Code of Australia. Private Certifiers Australia assess and make recommendations to Local Councils on all aspects of fire upgrading.

Our team deals with Council and owners with relation to Fire Orders, Notices of Intention to issue orders, Non Compliance works. We speak the council’s language when it comes to fire upgrades and what is an acceptable level of safety.

We use the performance provisions of the Building Code of Australia ( BCA ) to get the best outcome for you building.

In using the performance provisions of the BCA we engage fire engineers to provide the best low cost level of achieving  a safe environment for the building occupants in the even should fire occur in the building. Grant Harrington, the Director of Private Certifiers Australia has spent 17 years as a carpenter and licensed builder and holds a current NSW Builders License.

He understands the building processes on-site and the needs of individual builders, with a focus on getting the job done.

As a builder you can count on the support of our competent team to assist you in relation to the issuing of: construction certificates and complying development certificates for either new homes, additions and alterations to existing homes or commercial and industrial fit outs under the State Environmental Planning Policy (SEPP ) Exempt and Complying Development  Codes 2008.

Grant Harrington, the Director of Private Certifiers Australia holds a current NSW Builders License:
